About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Fertilizer Supervisor who brings strong horticultural knowledge and experience managing fertilizer and plant health programs. This role focuses on turf and plant health across residential and commercial properties and plays a key role in maintaining high standards of landscape care. This position also supports winter snow operations as part of our year round services. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys problem solving, working outdoors, and taking ownership of results.

NH Supervisory License is required to apply.

What You Will Do

Fertilizer and Plant Health

  • Lead and manage the fertilizer program for residential and commercial clients
  • Diagnose turf issues, soil health concerns, and plant health symptoms
  • Apply fertilizers and treatments in compliance with state regulations and product guidelines
  • Track applications accurately through internal systems and maintain compliance logs
  • Recommend improvements to lawns, soil conditions, and overall property health
  • Mentor and train team members in best horticultural practices
  • Support internal education and training related to fertilizer and plant health
  • Work closely with project managers and maintenance crews to ensure consistent, high quality results

Client Interaction

  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and treatment plans clearly and professionally
  • Provide education to homeowners and commercial clients as needed

General Responsibilities

  • Maintain equipment and vehicles to company standards
  • Follow all safety procedures and promote a safe working environment
  • Assist with seasonal operations, including participation in snow and ice management services as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in fertilizer application, turf management, horticulture, or plant health care
  • NH Supervisory License required
  • Strong understanding of New England turf, soils, plant material, and pest challenges
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continued learning
  • Ability to work outdoors in all seasons, including winter conditions

Bonus Experience

  • Education in turfgrass, horticulture, or environmental science
  • Experience training or leading team members
  • Experience with snow operations or winter services
