Overview
We’re looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Residential & Educational Services program at Easterseals NH. This program offers intensive residential treatment and educational services with varying levels of supports for youth ages 5 to 21. As an RN in this program, you will provide direction and oversight to staff for the medical needs of individuals served, consistent with the State Regulations, guardians, physicians and other consulting staff.
Responsibilities- Provide ongoing medical monitoring and quality assurance of residence according to Easter Seals’ medical policy and procedures.
- Act as a medical liaison between all medical and academic professionals (when identified).
- Provide medication administration training and supervision to staff and independent contractors affiliated with our consumers (if applicable).
- Medication certification practicum and recertification as required by state and/or licensing.
- Responsible for tracking, monitoring and documentation of all medication errors including certification and recertification of staff.
- Provide response to non-emergency medical situations while on call within 15 minutes of a related call.
- Completion of nursing assessments for each individual assigned.
- Provide oversight of ordering prescriptions, medical supplies, etc.
- Provide oversight of scheduling all medical and dental appointments and ensure follow-through with staff and follow up treatment as ordered.
- Train and supervise staff in relation to medical and health treatment for individuals served. Provide health education groups.
- Maintain documentation and prepare reports as required by program policy.
- Conduct monthly audits of BM, HIP, Seizure and MAR documents.
- Supervise assigned medical liaison.
- Participate and attend treatment team meetings and provide health-related information to team members.
- Provide direct care coverage as assigned.
- Work closely with health care providers regarding the individuals’ overall medical care and follow-up.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- One (1) year experience with the target population
- Certification as a Nurse Trainer or the ability to obtain certification as mandated by state regulations (programs other than Farnum Center)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
This position requires a criminal and motor vehicle background check.
Hours & CompensationHours:
Full Time, 40 hours per week. The possible shifts include either:
Thursday
- Sunday 11am-9pm OR Thursday
- Monday 11am-7pm.
Compensation:
Salary of $90,953 annually.

- Up to 9 paid holidays annually, plus one floating holiday of your choice. For programs that remain open during holidays, staff scheduled to work will receive holiday pay in accordance with program guidelines.
