The Emergency Room (ER) Nurse provides high-quality, immediate care to patients experiencing urgent and emergent medical conditions. This role requires strong clinical judgment, rapid assessment skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The ER Nurse works closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to stabilize patients, perform critical interventions, and ensure safe, efficient patient flow. Responsibilities include triage, medication administration, monitoring vital signs, assisting with procedures, and delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.
Strong communication, quick decision-making, and adherence to safety and emergency protocols are essential.

Requirements
Must have
: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
· Must have 2 years ED experience
· BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC
· Must NH RN License or Compact License
· Adaptability
· Strong communication skills with patients and peers
· Strong assessment skills
· Dependability and punctuality
· Strong critical thinking skills
· Strong understanding of medical terminology (department coordinators)
· 50 mile radius rule
Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.
· BLS/ACLS/PALS/MOAB/TNCC
· Strong understanding of EKG interpretation
