Tell us about the unit(s):
- Number of Beds – 10
- Type of staff:
- Day Shift – 1 charge, 3 RN, 1 LNA , and sitter PRN
- Night Shift – 1 charge, 2 RNs, 1 LNA, and sitter PRN
- Patient Ratios 3-4:1
- Type of equipment – IV pumps, Telemetry monitors, Hoyer/stand lifts, bladder scanner, Bair hugger, rapid transfuser, chest tubes, vein finder, high‑flow nasal cannula, BiPAP/CPAP, epicardial and transvenous pacers
- EMR – Sunrise
- Patient Population – Mostly Cardio‑Thoracic and Vascular surgical patients, with occasional medical Progressive care patients
Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
- Telemetry
- Comfort with chest tubes
Preferred or Nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.
- Experience with cardiac drips (dobutamine, dopamine, levo)
- External pacemaker experience
- Pericardial centesis with drains left in place post‑procedure
- Thoracentesis
- Chest tube insertion
- Organized but easily adaptable
- ACLS
- BLS
- Progressive Care and Telemetry
- Scrub Color/Attire – N/A

Weekends and On‑call (if any)- Every third weekend, no call
