Responsibilities:
- Provide transformational leadership, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and shared governance.
- Maintain 24/7 accountability for clinical and operational management of the unit.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation regulations; monitor infection control and patient safety metrics.
- Direct patient care during emergent and urgent situations; prioritize staff staffing and resource allocation.
- Develop and revise unit policies, protocols, and evidence‑based practice guidelines.
- Lead unit performance improvement initiatives; analyze data, implement actions, and report outcomes.
- Serve as liaison to medical staff, hospital leadership, and community partners.
Qualifications:
- BSN required; MSN preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of direct nursing care experience and 3+ years of leadership experience as Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse.
- Demonstrated leadership, clinical reasoning, and commitment to quality outcomes.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse in NH.
- Graduate from an approved nursing school.
- BSN required; MSN preferred.
- 3+ years leadership experience in Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse role.
- Minimum 3–5 years relevant direct nursing care experience.
- Current RN registration in NH.
- Specialty certification strongly preferred.
