Mount Carmel Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Manchester, NH is a 120-bed facility offering short and long‑term care. We are proud to be a part of Catholic Charities New Hampshire’s continuum of care and a 5‑star facility.
Unit Manager – Full Time, 1st Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)We’re looking for an experienced Unit Manager to join our team. This is a full‑time, 40‑hour position on 1st shift with a supportive schedule that includes:
- Nursing on‑call rotation – approximately every 7 weeks, with $150 on‑call pay
- MOD (Manager on Duty) rotation – typically 3–4 times per year
- Weekend coverage – when working a weekend day, you’ll get a day off during the week
- Day‑to‑day coordinator and 24‑hour oversight of the unit
- Monitor resident care by licensed nurses and LNAs
- Ensure resident care and documentation is in compliance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations for healthcare
- Ensure physician orders are being followed, monitor medication and treatment schedules, and MDS documentation is accurate
- Work collaboratively with other departments, assist ADON, working most closely and under the direction of the Director of Nurses
- Assess, plan, implement and monitor resident care to ensure that care needs are being met
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident‑related care information to ensure HIPAA compliance
- Provide overall supervision of licensed nurses, LNAs and LMNAs and the care provided to residents on the assigned unit
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Long‑term care experience preferred
- RN with management experience
- Must possess and maintain a current nursing license and be in good standing with the State of New Hampshire Nursing Board
