Under the general direction of the Chief Nurse Officer and the direct supervision of the Director, and in accordance with the nursing practice standards of care and practice established by the Nursing Organization and by the specific unit/department in accordance with the rules, and regulations and/or standards established by the New Hampshire State Board on Nursing, the Joint Commission, and appropriate specialty organizations relevant to the patient population.
Provides care directly to patients and in collaboration with other health care team members. The Rapid Response Registered Nurse maintains competency and skill with technical procedures as defined by the nursing specialty organization, complies with all regulations and standards of regulatory and accrediting bodies and is currently licensed in the state of New Hampshire as a registered nurse. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide expected standards of care based on physical, psychosocial, cultural, educational, spiritual, safety and age‑appropriate considerations of patients.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing preferred.
- BSN strongly preferred.
- Specialty certification strongly preferred.
- Critical care experience minimum 3 years with strong clinical nursing skills.
- Demonstrated strong presenting skills.
- Flexible, team player.
- Ability to multitask.
- Current registration in the State of NH as a Registered Nurse.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) current upon hire.
- ACLS current upon hire.
