REGISTERED NURSE MANAGER – TRAUMA PROGRAM
Permanent Progeny HR Solutions LLC seeks a highly qualified Registered Nurse Manager to lead the Trauma Program at our client facility in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Position OverviewThe Registered Nurse Manager will oversee daily operations of the Trauma Program, including staff management, policy implementation, quality of care, and resource stewardship.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of nurses and support staff in the Trauma Program, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the highest quality of care for trauma patients.
- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure efficient operations.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Trauma Program, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Oversee the budget and resource allocation for the Trauma Program, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost‑effective operations.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Serve as a liaison between the Trauma Program and other departments, as well as external organizations and agencies.
- Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and performance evaluations as required.
- Stay current on developments and advancements in trauma nursing and management through continuing education and professional development opportunities.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required;
Master’s degree preferred. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in trauma nursing, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of trauma nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with a diverse team.
- Proficiency in electronic health records and other healthcare technology.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements for trauma programs.
- Ability to handle high‑stress situations and make critical decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
