LNA II – Newborn Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Who We Are:
Elliot Hospital’s Women's and Children’s Services are dedicated to addressing the specific health and wellness needs of women and their children. The Elliot NICU is the only Level III Newborn Intensive Care Unit in southern New Hampshire, taking care of babies 24 weeks in gestation to term who are critically ill using high‑tech resources and a team of dedicated professionals specializing in premature infant care.
Our state‑of‑the‑art facility houses 26‑beds (isolettes), where we treat more than总体 400 critically ill and premature infants each year.
The LNA II, under general direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager and direct supervision of the RN, is an integral member of the care delivery team by performing direct and indirect patient care through clinical tasks within the scope of LNA=".$=" practice and by providing personal care and emotional support.
What You’ll Do:- Activities of daily living
- Report allaufl all observations, symptoms, deviations from normal, and changes in patient’s condition to RN
- Provide basic support to patients and families
- Documents in selected areas of the medical record as appropriate
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current New Hampshire licensure as LNA required
- Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment
