Development Manager

Remote working from Manchester, NH

Position Summary

Development Managers partner closely with Executive Directors and community volunteer leaders to support an annual plan addressing arthritis community needs including revenue generation, special event fundraising, and mission outreach.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support Executive Director and volunteer leaders to execute revenue generation, special event fundraising, and mission outreach plans.
  • Generate revenue through up to three assigned special events and other fundraising initiatives, supporting annual plan execution.
  • Recruit volunteer leaders for local committee roles, growing a diverse volunteer pipeline and fostering recruitment, recognition, training, and leadership development.
  • Cultivate, steward, and advance relationships with corporate partners, healthcare providers, and key constituents.
  • Build a culture of philanthropy by developing dynamic volunteer committees, contributing to high‑performing markets.
Required Experience & Education
  • Bachelor’s degree or related experience.
  • Goal oriented with ability to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Successful collaborative skills working with a variety of groups including volunteers.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to relate and leverage the mission into effective relationships and projects.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills.
