Overview

Senior Director of Creative to set the creative vision and drive brand impact across all channels at Easterseals NH & VT. This dynamic leadership role oversees the creative team to produce compelling, brand-aligned content across digital, print, and video platforms including web, social, signage, email, events, and video production. This role is ideal for a creative leader who is driven by purpose and motivated to make a lasting impact.

Responsibilities
  • Creative & Brand Leadership:
    Direct and inspire the creative team to produce compelling, brand-aligned content across all platforms and media, including digital, print, and video. Design and execute a comprehensive brand plan and strategy, including visual identity, messaging, and positioning. Ensure consistency across all communications, both internal and external. Hands-on development of Marcom materials to support all efforts.
  • Brand Project & Campaign Management:
    Serve as the organizational Brand Project Mar Com Manager, driving planning, execution, and successful delivery of marketing and communication initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and budgets. Develop and execute strategies to increase overall brand awareness of Easterseals NH & VT, its programs, and leadership through targeted Mar Com campaigns, earned media, internal and external signage, email marketing, events, scripts/talking points, web content, videos, swag materials, and other collateral.

    Evaluate performance of brand campaigns to ensure effectiveness and optimize as needed.
  • Strategy, Operations & Leadership:
    Provide thought leadership to CCMO and assist in crisis communications when requested. Oversee, manage, and utilize internal printer and vendor relations as needed. Develop workflows and standard operating procedures to improve departmental efficiencies and optimization. Help develop annual budget (approximately $2.6M), track expenditures, and ensure financial targets are met.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Visual Identity, Graphic Design, or related field (Master’s Degree preferred)
  • Seven (7)+ years of progressive experience with a demonstration of results in creative direction, brand strategy, and/or visual communications
  • Three to five (3–5) years supervisory experience, including mentorship, coaching, and performance assessment
  • At least three (3) years’ experience with Smartsheet or other online project management software; certification preferred
  • Proven ability to develop and execute brand strategies, visual identities, storytelling, and integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, signage, and video platforms
  • Hands-on experience with creative production, including web design, print, video, social media, email marketing, and event collateral
  • Well-versed in leveraging multiple marketing channels to craft and deliver brand strategies; experience targeting audiences and developing campaigns across email (segmentation, drip campaigns, targeted list usage), social media, earned media, content marketing, paid advertising, and SEO/SEM
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating brand storytelling, high impact design, and multimedia work
  • Inspiring team leader with experience leading designers, writers, web managers, and outside vendors
  • Ability to provide strategic and creative direction while empowering team creativity
  • Skilled in brand project management, including timelines, workflows, and resource allocation
  • Strong analytical and research skills, including establishing success metrics and tracking outcomes
  • Creative problem solver with emotional intelligence and critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and offer thought leadership to CCMO and other senior leaders
  • Experience in developing standard operating procedures
  • Skilled in developing and managing budgets to align with strategic goals and financial accountability
  • Strong vendor and budget management skills, including overseeing internal print production and external partners
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Sprout Social, Marketing CRM (Active Campaign or other), Looker Studio, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Office
