** Job Description*
* ** Laser Marking Operator - 1st Shift*
* ** Position Summary*
* The Laser Marking Operator I will operate laser marking machine and laser mark instruments per customers' prints and requirements.

** Principle Responsibilities*
* + Starts up and shuts down laser marking machines

+ Follows program notes to build and install fixturing.

+ Maintains proper line clearance for job

+ Completes jobs per standard procedures

+ Performs 100% visual inspection of markings on each piece.

+ Measures any dimensions using proper equipment to confirm program is correct (i.e., caliper, optical comparator, gauging) and adjusts as needed.

+ Confirms proper focus to achieve desired markings.

+ Initials, dates, and confirms piece count is correct

+ Works independently and maintains productivity and quality.

+ Reads and interprets prints.

** Qualification Requirements*
* ** Credentials/

Experience:

*
* + High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

+ Previous manufacturing experience preferred

** Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:*
* + Prefer the ability to read blue prints (Level
2) and use measurement tools (level
1)

+ Math aptitude with the ability to add and subtract decimals.

+ Prefer computer skills

+ Prefer Microsoft Office knowledge.

+ Prefer Drawing Editor software experience.(Level
2)

+ Prefer working knowledge of working with inspection equipment (calipers, mics, comparators)
