. This is a long-term opportunity within a firm that represents medical facilities, hospitals, and healthcare professionals and is planning ahead as senior attorneys approach retirement in the coming years.

Position: Medical Malpractice Defense Attorney (5+ Years)

About The Role

This attorney will defend medical facilities and medical personnel in complex medical malpractice litigation. The role offers hands-on responsibility managing cases from inception through resolution, including discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.

• Defend medical malpractice claims on behalf of hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers
• Manage cases from intake through resolution
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and briefs
• Conduct and defend depositions of parties, fact witnesses, and medical experts
• Prepare cases for trial, hearings, and mediations
• Work closely with clients, risk managers, and insurance carriers
• Provide strategic case evaluations and reporting

• 5+ years of medical malpractice defense experience
• Demonstrated experience representing medical facilities and medical personnel
• Strong deposition, motion practice, and trial preparation skills
• Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical abilities
• Licensed in New Hampshire (required)
• Massachusetts Bar admission a plus
• Interest in long-term growth within a stable, sizable firm
