Manchester HQ | US market | Lead Recruiter
At Craft, we’re growing our US-focused business and hiring an experienced recruiter who’s ready to build lasting influence in a dynamic, rewarding market.
We’re coming off our most successful year to date, with real momentum in the US market. We’ve been embedded in the New York creative industry for nearly four years – building relationships, showing up consistently, and earning trust.
The roleAs a Lead Recruiter at Craft, you’ll sit at the intersection of delivery, growth, and market presence.
You’ll lead end-to-end recruitment projects across the US market – winning and delivering senior briefs, and acting as a trusted advisor to clients and candidates alike.
You won’t be expected to arrive as a finished article. But you will be someone who’s drawn to expertise – who wants to understand a market properly, contribute thoughtfully, and help shape how Craft shows up within it.
How we think about performanceWe work in a market where reputation matters. Relationships last. So when we talk about high performance, we mean:
- Consistent results, delivered with care and judgement
- Quality decision-making under pressure
- Commercial impact that strengthens relationships
- Are an experienced 360 recruiter, comfortable owning the full lifecycle
- Enjoy senior-level conversations and thinking beyond the immediate brief
- Care about building genuine, long‑term relationships
- Take pride in doing things properly
- Are ambitious, not just for yourself, but for the quality of work you put into the world
At this level, success is measured by how you raise standards, support others, and contribute to Craft’s reputation in the market. We see financial success as a result of those high standards.
Life at CraftYou’ll be part of a highly experienced team, with an average of 10.5 years in recruitment. We invest heavily in enablement, systems and support functions – so you can focus on what matters.
Progression here is clear, transparent, and built around impact. From Lead Recruiter‑level, there are pathways into market leadership or people leadership, depending on where your strengths and interests lie.
