Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week

• Every other weekend requirement

• Patient ratio of 4:1 for days, nights, and weekends

• Fast-paced emergency department with strong pediatric presence

• Float to ICU and ED for helping hands approach and patient sitting as needed

• Handle 70 average daily census with 160 visits per day in 36 rooms and 50 beds

• Minimum 2 years emergency department experience required

• Travel experience required - first time travelers not accepted

• Epic charting system experience required

• Pediatric experience highly preferred

• Required certifications: ACLS, CPI, PALS, TNCC, BLS

• Skills include triage, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, IV management

• Work with special equipment including Point of Care US, EPOC, Belmont, Ranger, and Teleneurology

• Perform special procedures including conscious sedation, trauma alerts, stroke alerts, and SANE consultations

• Care for all age groups from neonates to geriatrics with various diagnoses from minor injuries to complex emergencies

• 36-hour orientation period with one week of class and clinical time

• Any color scrubs acceptable

• Valid New Hampshire state license required

• Drug screen must be obtained within 14 days of start date
