OverviewMesa seeks an Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAV) Foot Patrol Technician with the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Responsibilities- Coordinate transportation to the inspection site
- Aid inspection team in setting up safety zone
- Help maintain safety zone being aware of property owners/pedestrians in the area
- Communicate with pilot to aid in safe, professional flight operations
- Communicate with pilot to aid in operation of the UAS in accordance with all FAA rules
- Collect images necessary to inspect structures and lines if required
- Create backup files and documentation for all images as required
- Note deficiencies on structures and lines
- Communicate with management and project team about deficiencies found
- Make suggestions to improve data collection process and efficiency
High School diploma or GED;
Knowledge of power line structures, clearances and standards
