Overview
USNH employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app. Seeking an adjunct instructor for NUTRITION 400 (undergraduate lecture and lab sections). One section per semester through the academic year; summer teaching opportunities as well. Course meets online in summer and in-person during the academic year. Addresses scientific principles of human nutrition to promote health and well-being. Overview of the biological significance of food and nutrition, specific nutrient functions, and how the supply and demand of food impacts physical health and well-being.
Emphasis on scientific literacy and an appreciation of the ways in which we gain scientific knowledge and understanding. Lecture and Lab.
- 90% Classroom Instruction.
- 10% Grading and student interaction.
- Master’s degree in related field, plus teaching experience at the college level.
