Overview

Location: NH Lakes Region, NH Seacoast. The ideal candidate would reside in the Southern/Central NH area or be willing to commute daily to NH Lakes Region and/or Seacoast for projects. Occasional visits to the home office in Waltham MA also required.

Responsibilities
  • Creating and driving project schedule.
  • Training and general management of all employees assigned to a project.
  • Monitoring the performance of sub-contractors and staff.
  • Monitoring project budgets and identifying problems and appropriate solutions.
  • Defining the scope and resources required to accomplish projects.
  • Allocating resources, materials, sub-contractors and other staff necessary for the successful completion of the project within budget.
  • Maintaining a safe, secure and healthy work environment by adhering to and enforcing safety standards and legal requirements.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in general construction or related field, with progressive roles including supervisory.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in all weather.
  • Travel to work sites.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job: standing for long periods of time, lifting, pulling, and/or pushing heavy loads up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent management skills with a focus on positivity and solutions.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
  • Deep understanding of proper safety procedures and laws with an ability to recognize hazards and address appropriately.
  • Commitment to safety on the work site.
  • Ability to set priorities and exercise flexibility when necessary.
  • Working knowledge of construction software (Procore) and Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Punctual and reliable to work.
  • Ability to motivate a team and keep team on targeted goals.
  • Professionalism, diplomacy, collaborative, self-starter, and sense of humor.
