Matthew is an engaging, energetic 33 year old male seeking support in his daily routine out in the community. This would require picking Matthew up at his home in the morning and transporting him to a variety of locations and scheduled activities throughout the day, returning home in the afternoon. Matthew enjoys activities such as walking on local trails, horseback riding, swimming, and exercising at the YMCA, visiting animal farms, visiting local libraries, and making small purchases in the community.

• Matthew is able to walk, feed self and use bathroom with minimal assistance.
• Matthew is unable to follow safety rules, prepare food, hygiene care, read/write
• Matthew is mostly happy and loving but can be impulsive or angry when tired, hungry, or over stimulated

• Full Time Day Shift
• Monday - Friday 7:30am - 3:00 pm (37.50 hours per week)

PAY: $18-$20/hr.

• Do you have a valid driver's license, auto insurance and a reliable vehicle?

Must be kind, firm but soft spoken, DSP experience preferred, Energetic, Sense of Humor, Loving disposition, Experience with challenging behaviors, Patient, Ability to engage in client s preferred physical activities, diffuse mild physical aggression.

• Ability to work together with client to complete organizational tasks
• Ability to carry out individual service goals and communication goals
• Keep organized documentation of services

• Valid Driver s License
• Access to reliable transportation
• Auto Insurance policy with minimum policy coverage - $100,000/$300,000
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year working with individuals with intellectual disabilities preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Staff are also required to travel and transport clients when applicable. This includes having access to a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license and maintaining comprehensive personal auto insurance of $100,000/300,000.
