Global Logistics & Trade Compliance Coordinator
Position Summary: The Customs Specialist manages import and export compliance, oversees customs clearance for international shipments, ensures adherence to customs regulations, and identifies opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce risks in global trade. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with global customs procedures, regulations, and compliance management.
Key Responsibilities:
Risk Management:
Stay updated on customs regulations; identify and mitigate compliance risks; liaise with legal counsel, customs brokers, and regulatory bodies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in international business, logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 8+ years of experience in global customs compliance or international trade.
- Strong knowledge of global customs regulations and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with customs brokers and regulatory authorities.
