As a Security Officer - Armed Perimeter Patrol in Saint Louis, MO
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. This position involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, responding to concerns with calm professionalism, monitoring assigned areas, documenting observations, and communicating clearly with team members and site contacts. $27.00 / Hour

Day Time - Thursday: 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM
Friday: 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM
Saturday: 07:00 AM – 07:00 PM

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out armed post procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a food and beverage retail and/or distribution location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including reporting hazards, disturbances, and/or suspicious activity through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the interior, exterior, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and support a visible presence.
• Control access for employees, vendors, and visitors by verifying identification and/or delivery documentation, monitoring entry points, and documenting security-related activity per post orders.
• Complete required reports and logs, including incident documentation, patrol activity, and equipment status, and communicate pertinent information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
