Special Education Teacher, Teacher Assistant/ Paraprofessional

The Resource Teacher works collaboratively with classroom teachers, administration, and families to provide targeted academic support and interventions for students in grades K–8. This position focuses on differentiated instruction, progress monitoring, and individualized learning plans to ensure student success.
Job Responsibilities- Provide small-group and individualized instruction in reading, math, and written language
- Develop and implement accommodation plans and intervention strategies
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to modify curriculum and assessments
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student growth and strategies
- Participate in Student Support Team meetings
- Assist in coordinating referrals and reviewing educational evaluations
- Support a positive, faith-centered learning environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Education
- Valid state teaching certification
- Experience working with students with learning differences, ADHD, anxiety, or executive functioning challenges
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Commitment to Catholic education and willingness to uphold the teachings of the Catholic Church
