• Deliver dry van freight on OTR routes as a CDL-A driver
• Operate and manage a truck per company policy and safety standards

• 2+ years of CDL A driving experience

• Our headquarters are located in Seward, Nebraska, just outside of Lincoln, Nebraska. Travel routes include western destinations to Salt Lake City, UT; south to Dallas and Austin, TX;
  Savannah, GA; east to Harrisonburg, VA; and north to Chicago, IL and Minneapolis, MN.

• Fleet consists of later model Internationals LT and Volvo VNL 780 and 860

• Paid Orientation - including transportation, single room lodging and 2 meals a day

• Earn between $1,500 - $1,850 per week based on experience and miles
• No slip seating. Truck is yours until you're promoted out of it.
• We run 30-35 drivers per Driver Manager. They will know you by your name and not a number!
• 75% drop & hook, 95% no-touch freight
• No NYC/Canada
• Layover and detention pay

Seward Motor Freight can be traced back to the early 1940's when the company was founded by Willard and Wanda Miers as a LTL operation to transport freight between Omaha and Seward, Nebraska. Wayne and Joanie Tanderup purchased and incorporated the business in 1969 and developed the growth of the company throughout the 1970s. In 1987 Seward Motor Freight, Inc. acquired long haul permits from the I.C.C. to haul general commodities throughout the continental United States, changing the dynamics of the company to a TL carrier.

During the 1980s Seward Motor Freight, Inc. acquired several trucking companies expanding their base of operations. We currently are a dry box van operation hauling general commodities, no haz-mat, with authority to all 48 states, with limited travel areas as described above.
