Overview

Join Henderson Products Inc., located in Manchester, IA. We are the North American leader in the design, manufacture and up fit of multi-purpose equipment for heavy-duty work trucks specializing in snow and ice control and Keeping America’s Roads Safe!

Day Shift - 5am to 3:00pm, 20-minute paid lunch

Responsibilities

Material Handlers safely and efficiently operate forklifts to transport, stack, or store materials between or within departments; must unload trucks and use hoists and other equipment; are knowledgeable about materials and part numbers; support factory operations by coordinating delivery of materials, parts, jigs, fixtures, dies, and supplies to manufacturing and service areas. Assists other departments whenever possible. Responsible for daily inspection of material handling equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.

What This Role Needs
  • Ability to operate forklifts efficiently and safely
  • Understand and utilize safe working habits
  • Ability to use good judgment
  • Read blueprints
  • Willingness to work with multiple departments
  • Self-starting, self-motivated
Preferred
  • Prior material handling experience
  • Extensive experience operating fork lifts
Working Conditions
  • Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs.
  • Bending, lifting, and standing
  • Exposure to noise and weld and grinding smoke at times
