Maintenance & RepairPerform routine preventive maintenance and troubleshoot complex malfunctions on digital radiography equipment and related imaging systems.
Replace or repair mechanical, electronic, and software components to ensure reliable system performance.
Advanced TroubleshootingDiagnose hardware, electrical, and software issues using diagnostic tools, schematics, test equipment, and specialized software.
Conduct root‑cause analysis to prevent recurring failures and improve system reliability.
Calibration & System AlignmentCalibrate and align imaging systems to ensure all components meet performance specifications.
Verify optimal image quality and ensure compliance with patient safety standards.
IT & Network SupportConfigure and maintain network connectivity for imaging and radiography systems to ensure proper communication with PACS and management software.
Support integration with hospital or clinic IT infrastructure.
System Security & Software SupportInstall and verify software updates, system patches, and cybersecurity tools.
Implement and maintain security protocols that protect patient data and safeguard equipment operations.
Documentation & ReportingMaintain detailed service documentation, including maintenance logs, repair records, test results, and compliance reports.
Provide timely reporting to supervisors and maintain documentation required for regulatory standards.
Required Skills And Qualifications Technical ExpertiseStrong knowledge of electronics, electrical systems, digital computer technology, and diagnostic tools such as multimeters, network analyzers, and system scanners.
Understanding of X‑ray technology and radiographic system components, including X‑ray tubes, detectors, and image intensifiers.
Problem‑Solving AbilityProven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software‑related issues efficiently.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Manual Dexterity &Physical Requirements
Ability to perform precise work on small components and intricate assemblies.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs when handling equipment or parts.
Safety KnowledgeThorough understanding of radiation safety practices, regulatory compliance, and proper handling of imaging equipment.
IT & Cybersecurity SkillsExperience working with software applications, network connectivity, and cybersecurity tools relevant to medical imaging systems.
Communication & Customer ServiceAbility to communicate clearly and professionally with medical staff, administrators, and end‑users.
Strong customer service mentality, with the ability to explain technical issues in an understandable way.
