Client, the world’s leading provider of secure financial messaging services, will hire an AI Software Engineer for their Manassas, VA location. Client's Messaging Services are mission‑critical platforms that securely carry global financial messages. These services support message exchange, validation, transaction tracking, translation, and network connectivity for the worldwide financial community.

The selected engineer will work on high‑availability, secure messaging platforms such as FIN, Swift Net (Inter Act, File Act, Instant) and Market Infrastructure (MI) solutions including MI-Channel, T2S, TIPS, and ESMIG.

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise‑grade software solutions
• Contribute to end‑to‑end system integration to enhance product quality and reliability
• Collaborate with internal customers, technical analysts, and cross‑functional engineering teams
• Gather technical insights and customer requirements to drive continuous product improvement
• Analyze system requirements including inputs/outputs, workflows, hardware/software needs, and integration points
• Recommend best‑practice technical solutions for small to medium complexity projects
• Support project proposals with cost/benefit analysis and technical feasibility
• Provide technical guidance and assist junior team members in problem resolution

• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
• Present technical solutions to stakeholders, customers, and management
• Lead design and technical review meetings
• Prepare system documentation and operational procedures
• Evaluate solution feasibility, estimates, and implementation approaches

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of professional software development and maintenance experience

• Strong proficiency in C++ and object‑oriented design
• Willingness to work with Java, Python, C, or other languages as needed
• Strong experience with Oracle or other RDBMS and exposure to PL/SQL
• Experience in Test‑Driven Development (TDD) environments
• Solid knowledge of Linux

• Working knowledge of Elasticsearch
• Familiarity with Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence
