Mr. Handyman of NOVA is a locally owned franchise serving the northern VA area for over 16 years. We take pride in delivering high-quality work, excellent customer service, and maintaining long-term relationships with our clients and partners. We are looking for electricians, plumbers, welders, concrete finishers, landscapers, remodeling teams, roofers, fence and deck builders, flooring specialists, and any home repair contractors.

We are currently seeking licensed and insured subcontractors to join our team to support ongoing and upcoming projects.

The Licensed Subcontractor will provide skilled labor and expertise in their respective trade(s) to complete residential and/or commercial projects according to company standards and client expectations. Ideal candidates are reliable professionals who value quality, safety, and teamwork. Looking only for VA licensed contractors with a crew of three (3) or more and live in the northern VA area.

• Perform assigned work in accordance with project plans, specifications, and local codes.
• Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively regarding progress, issues, or material needs.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and applicable regulations.
• Provide accurate documentation, including invoices, time logs, and proof of licensure/insurance.
• Maintain an appearance and demeanor representative of the Mr. Handyman image, the Mr. Handyman level of quality, and the Mr. Handyman Way.

• Punctuality, dependability, neat appearance, professional grooming, thoroughness, consistency with service and solution-oriented perspective.
• Active and valid VA state contractor's license in relevant trade(s).
• Proof of liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in the trade(s).
• Own tool, transportation, and equipment required for the job.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Empathy and ability to listen, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or vocational training in a related field preferred.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written in English. Bilingual is preferred.

Competitive, project-based pay or negotiated rate depending on experience and trade.
