Experience Requirements
To qualify as a Level 1 Technician, candidates must have:
+ Minimum 2 years of data center cabling experience
+ (Anything less is an automatic disqualifier.)
Level 2 candidates require:
+ Resume review
+ Technical screening to verify hands‑on skill proficiency
Required Tools
Technicians must provide their own tools:
+ Electrician snips
+ Basic hand tools (Phillips/flathead screwdrivers, wrench set, socket set)
+ Hand drill (preferred; can be provided if needed)
Key Skills & Responsibilities
+ Pulling and routing fiber optic cable
+ Performing Fluke testing
+ Terminating copper and fiber cabling
+ Cable dressing and pathway organization
+ Working in a data center construction environment with full PPE
+ Ability to articulate hands‑on data center experience
+ Ability to follow safety standards, documentation, and quality guidelines

Pay Range
+ Level 1 Tech: $19-$22/hr
+ Level 2 Tech: $23-$27/hr
Additional Requirements

+ Reliable and able to work full shifts in a physical environment
+ Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs, work on ladders, and navigate tight spaces
+ Ability to identify active circuits and follow labeling/termination standards
Work Environment
+ On‑site in a live data center construction setting
+ Full PPE required
+ Fast‑paced, hands‑on technical environment

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manassas, VA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $27.00/hr.
