Laborer - Wet Utilities

Position Overview:

We are seeking a full-time Laborer to support our wet utility construction projects. The ideal candidate will assist with the installation of stormwater, sanitary sewer, and water lines, and perform general labor tasks on-site. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist with trenching, grading, and pipe installation.

* Load and unload materials and tools at the job site.

* Maintain a clean and organized work area.

* Follow all safety protocols and participate in daily safety meetings.

* Operate hand tools and small equipment as needed.

* Support crew members with various tasks to ensure efficient workflow.

* Report any unsafe conditions or equipment issues to the Foreman immediately.

Qualifications:

* Previous experience in construction or utility work preferred but not required.

* Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

* Reliable transportation to and from job sites.

* Ability to pass a federal background check.

* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.

* Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing tasks that require standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, and crouching.

* Visual acuity for identifying hazards and performing tasks safely.
