Job Description As a Security Officer
-Armed Perimeter Security Clearance in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and telecom location, you will conduct routine patrols of assigned areas, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service requests with clear communication.

You will use your armed guard card/license and sound judgment to support access control and incident reporting, delivering a people-first experience through teamwork, integrity, and innovative, reliable service. Position Type:

What You'll Do:
* Provide customer service to clients and guests by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
* Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications, documenting actions taken, and assisting with access control as directed.
* Conduct regular and random armed foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading docks, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
* Monitor alarms, cameras, and other site systems when assigned, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns through the appropriate channels.
* Complete detailed reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident reports, and shift turnover notes, in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

* Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
* Maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
* Be 21+ Years of Age.
* Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
* Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
* As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
* Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
* Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
* A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
