Position SummaryVision Center Managers drive sales and lead the daily operations of the Vision Center. They ensure merchandise presentation and pricing are competitive, maintain inventory levels, perform budgeting and forecasting, and support the community outreach efforts that enhance customer experience. They uphold Walmart’s policies, provide leadership and development for Associates, and maintain high standards of ethical compliance and customer service.
Responsibilities- Drive Vision Center sales by ensuring effective merchandise presentation and accurate, competitive pricing.
- Maintain proper signing and in‑stock inventory levels, including inventory forecasting and budgeting.
- Assess economic trends and community needs to optimize product assortment.
- Model and enforce proper Customer‑Member service approaches, resolving complaints and issues within company guidelines.
- Oversee the implementation of community outreach programs and encourage Associates to act as community ambassadors.
- Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations by monitoring asset protection and safety controls.
- Develop and implement action plans to improve performance and guide Associates in executing company programs.
- Guide Associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, recognizing achievements, and promoting a culture of belonging.
- Provide quality eyewear services, consulting with customers, performing minor frame repair, and maintaining optical equipment.
- Participate in job‑related activities and assignments, coordinate relationships with key stakeholders, and support initiatives to meet customer and business needs.
- Communicate goals, objectives, and progress, fostering accountability and measuring results.
- Identify and address improvement opportunities and promote continuous learning.
