UVA Community Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at UVA Health Piedmont Urgent Care Warrenton
. This practice builds upon a long-standing legacy of care in the Fauquier community and expands access to high-quality urgent care for patients throughout the region.

As part of UVA Health
, you'll have the backing of a nationally recognized academic health system while working in a well-established, community-centered practice.

Position Highlights
  • Location: Warrenton, VA
  • Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM)
  • Coverage: Shared rotation for evenings and weekends
  • Volume: 25-45 patients per day
  • Systems: EPIC EMR
  • Support: On-site Radiology and Lab at Piedmont Family Medicine
Daily Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including history, physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment plans.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute illnesses and injuries for patients of all ages.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold safety and infection control standards.
  • Deliver superior communication and customer service to patients, families, and colleagues.
Qualifications ul>
  • Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
  • Experience: Minimum 1-3 years in a physician practice or urgent care setting.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • Current NP license in Virginia
    • Active DEA registration
    • ACLS, PALS, and DOT certifications preferred
  • Board Certification: Family Medicine or Internal Medicine (required).
  • Skills: Confident working independently, excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and commitment to patient-centered care.
