UVA Community Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team at UVA Health Piedmont Urgent Care Warrenton
. This practice builds upon a long-standing legacy of care in the Fauquier community and expands access to high-quality urgent care for patients throughout the region.
As part of UVA Health
, you'll have the backing of a nationally recognized academic health system while working in a well-established, community-centered practice.
- Location: Warrenton, VA
- Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM)
- Coverage: Shared rotation for evenings and weekends
- Volume: 25-45 patients per day
- Systems: EPIC EMR
- Support: On-site Radiology and Lab at Piedmont Family Medicine
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including history, physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment plans.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute illnesses and injuries for patients of all ages.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications as appropriate.
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold safety and infection control standards.
- Deliver superior communication and customer service to patients, families, and colleagues.
- Current NP license in Virginia
- Active DEA registration
- ACLS, PALS, and DOT certifications preferred
