Program Details

• Program Duration: 8 weeks, from June 8, 2026 to August 1, 2026
• Schedule: 36‑40 hours per week, 12‑hour shifts. Flexible day or night shifts to match preceptor schedule.
• Compensation: $16.00 per hour

• Assist patients with personal care as needed for optimal recovery during hospitalization.
• Perform basic nursing skills as delegated by an RN in accordance with policy and procedures.
• Provide a safe environment and safe delivery of care.
• Perform administrative support functions.
• Maintain necessary skills and competencies.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop or improve processes surrounding patient care.
• Coordinate provision of patient care through delegation, problem solving, time management, and organizational skills.

• Currently enrolled as a nursing student in the last year of program.
• Graduation date between December 2026 and May 2027.
• Flexibility to work day or night shifts.

• BSN students who have completed their 3rd year; ASN students who have completed their 1st year.
• None required experience; reference life support training policy for details.
