Plant Maintenance Technician at Vulcan responsible for safety, plant equipment repair, inspections, process monitoring, documentation, and general physical activities.

• Promote safety by prioritizing safety actions in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards.
• Repair and maintain plant equipment including screen changes, conveyor belt repair and adjustment, wear part replacement, crusher liner changes, water pump service, cutting, grinding, and welding.
• Inspect equipment and structures daily to ensure safe, reliable, compliant operations to maximize production and minimize interruptions.
• Monitor and review plant processes in aggregate crushing, washing, and screening areas to identify problems and ensure safety and materials compliance.
• Document and record information by entering and maintaining service and lubrication reports for plant equipment.
• Perform general physical activities such as cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Previous experience in the aggregate or construction industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of general principles and practices of industrial maintenance, construction, or aggregate production.
• Must be able to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands.
• Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate loud noise.
• Knowledge of industrial tools and their maintenance.
• Must be flexible to work overtime, extended hours, all types of weather, and tolerate exposure to loud noises.

• Hourly Range: $23.88 – $31.68 (exclusive of discretionary bonus and equity package).
