The Operations Manager plays a critical role in ensuring high‑quality, compliant contract operations while advancing Didlake’s mission to create opportunities that enrich the lives of people with disabilities. This position provides leadership, oversight, and strategic support to Project Managers and contract sites, ensuring operational excellence, safety, and strong relationships with government partners.

What You Will Do
  • Oversee all aspects of contract operations within assigned areas.
  • Plan, develop, and direct site contract operations while supervising staff.
  • Serve as a corporate point of contact for government contract representatives.
  • Implement programmatic and administrative policies and procedures to achieve program goals.
  • Make operational and administrative recommendations to the Director of Operations aligned with company objectives.
  • Act as a liaison between Didlake Corporate/HQ and assigned operating locations.
  • Support and provide guidance to Project Managers; serve as escalation point for conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, quality standards, safety policies, and OSHA regulations.
  • Perform quality control inspections on contracts at least once per week.
  • Ensure compliance with JWOD/Ability One, Source America standards, FARs, statements of work, and state/local laws.
  • Manage inventory, equipment, and safety programs (including lockout/tagout).
  • Ensure compliance with financial, personnel, and rehabilitation reporting requirements.
  • Participate in recruitment efforts and staff development initiatives.
  • Supervise, coach, and evaluate direct reports; foster teamwork and professional conduct.
  • Coordinate training and identify staff development opportunities in partnership with the Training Department.
  • Represent Didlake in meetings with external customers, contractors, and vendors.
  • Provide operational expertise for new and renewed contract bids and proposals.
  • Backfill Project Manager positions during absences or vacancies.
  • Demonstrate strong stewardship of government funding and facilities.
  • Promote human rights awareness, training, and incident reporting across all sites.
