About the Role:

Currie & Brown is seeking a Project Manager to serve as the Site Lead for a high-tech semiconductor project. Acting as a consultant to the client, you’ll oversee MEP systems, tool installation, and cost management across the full project lifecycle. This is a great opportunity for a Project Manager looking to step into a lead role. The position requires strong U.S. cost experience and the ability to lead teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive successful project outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee all commercial related activities, ensuring alignment with client goals, schedules, and budgets
• Lead on-site project execution
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical and logistical challenges
• Conduct field walks, lead progress meetings, and monitor construction performance against milestones
• Manage procurement, contract administration, and change order processes efficiently
• Interpret construction drawings and design documents to guide project delivery
• Maintain compliance with permitting, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Deliver regular status updates and reports to senior management and client stakeholders
• Promote a safety-first culture and ensure all site activities meet quality standards

Job Requirements:

• Proven track record in managing MEP, tool install, and cleanroom projects in a high-tech environment
• Strong background in cost control, quantity surveying, and U.S. construction pricing practices
• Familiarity with American construction contracts, procurement strategies, and commercial terms
• Skilled in project and cost management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, Excel)
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to analyze technical documentation for constructability and cost implications
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and willing to work full-time on-site

Education & Certification

• Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related field
• 8-12 years of experience in construction project management, with at least 3-5 years in the semiconductor or advanced technology sector
