Position: GovCon Project Control Analyst (5036)
GVI Inc., a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Gov Con Project Control Analyst to join our team in Manassas, Virginia.
Position Overview:Under general supervision and in accordance with established policies and procedures, the Project Control Analyst will support the management and administration of multiple government contracts. This role will monitor project financials and support various Project Managers (PMs).
Position Responsibilities:Understand project structure, cost accruals, billings, and financial reporting thoroughly.Manage project setups and understand government contract requirements.Ensure invoices comply with contract requirements and reconcile billings for each CLIN.Prepare monthly project accruals and coordinate between Accounting and Project Managers to ensure expenses are properly recorded.Analyze actual costs for improper allocations and assist in corrections.Maintain tracking spreadsheets for actuals and forecasts.Report on unbilled balances as needed.Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for projects.Review, code, and submit supplier invoices and voucher corrections.Assist Project Managers with monthly revenue forecasts and CDRLs.Review contract funding levels and notifications of fund limitations.Assist in pricing for existing and new opportunities.Perform other duties as assigned.Position Requirements:
US Citizenship.BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.At least two years of project control experience.Deltek CostPoint experience is required.Experience with FAR and GAAP is preferred.Understanding of revenue recognition concepts is preferred.Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines.Proficient in Excel and strong communication skills.Analytical skills and ability to prioritize tasks.Ability to work independently and in a team.This position is located in Manassas, Virginia.
