Environmental Engineer (Entry–Intermediate Level | Consulting)

$32.69 – $45.67 per hour, DOE

We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to support environmental compliance and consulting projects across diverse client sites. This role offers a mix of office and field work, partnering with senior engineers to deliver environmental solutions that meet regulatory requirements and sustainability goals.

You will support environmental assessments, compliance strategies, reporting, and technical evaluations while gaining hands‑on consulting experience.

• Support environmental compliance and consulting projects
• Prepare and review technical reports, calculations, and project documentation
• Evaluate environmental data and regulatory requirements
• Assist with environmental permitting and compliance strategies
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and maintain client relationships
• Participate in field work (travel up to 40–60%)

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering, or Environmental Science
• Minimum 4+ years of environmental consulting experience
• Knowledge of federal and state/provincial environmental regulations
• Understanding of environmental compliance and permitting
• Ability to travel up to 40–60%
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license or ability to obtain within 6 months

• Master’s degree
• Strong technical writing and report review skills
• Experience advising clients on environmental compliance
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
