We are looking for an experienced Electrical Senior Project Manager to take ownership of complex electrical construction projects across the Washington area. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives on driving project execution, building strong relationships, and ensuring high-quality delivery from start to completion.
Role SummaryAs a key member of our project leadership team, you will guide electrical construction initiatives through all phases—planning, execution, and closeout. You will be responsible for maintaining alignment between project goals, client expectations, and internal teams while upholding top-tier safety and quality standards.
What You’ll Do- Lead day-to-day management of electrical construction projects, ensuring work stays on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules, cost tracking, and resource plans.
- Collaborate closely with designers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to coordinate project activities.
- Conduct routine site reviews to monitor progress, address challenges, and support field teams.
- Ensure all work adheres to applicable electrical codes, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
- Communicate project status, milestones, and issues to clients, internal teams, and executive leadership.
- Prepare project reports, change order documentation, and closeout materials.
- Identify potential risks early and develop practical mitigation strategies.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to junior project staff and field personnel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline would be advantageous.
- At least 5 years of project management experience specifically within electrical construction.
- Deep understanding of electrical systems, construction processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency with project management platforms.
- PMP certification or equivalent credential is a strong advantage.
