We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Planner with experience in missile defense programs and proficiency in Microsoft Project to support planning, scheduling, and resource management for complex defense projects. The ideal candidate will ensure program timelines, budgets, and deliverables align with contractual and organizational objectives.
You will serve as an Engineering Planner supporting a prototype-to-production line of missile systems. This interactive role will collaborate closely with program management, proposal management, design engineering, quality, supply chain, and production teams to plan and execute development and production of CoAspire’s family of weapon systems.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using Microsoft Project for missile defense programs.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate task sequencing, resource allocation, and milestone tracking.
- Monitor schedule performance, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Prepare and present schedule status reports to program leadership and stakeholders.
- Support Earned Value Management (EVM) and compliance with DoD planning standards.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to align schedules with technical requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in program planning within the defense or aerospace industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and scheduling best practices.
- Strong understanding of missile defense systems and DoD acquisition processes.
- Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and Integrated Master Plan/Schedule (IMP/IMS).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Direct experience with cruise missile or similar weapon development and production.
- Familiarity with defense industry business and language.
- Familiarity with Cameo for MBSE efforts.
