Your Key Responsibilities
- AP SCM / Logistics:
- Strategic logistics analysis and modelling of logistics processes, infrastructure and supply chains according to the AAM goals.
- Realisation and optimisation of aftermarket kitting operations regionally.
- Optimisation of logistics performance in terms of material and information flow, costs and customer satisfaction as well as realisation of improvement potentials along the value chain for the automotive aftermarket division.
- Planning and implementation of logistics projects, logistics operations and processes; physical inventory management and technology.
- Responsible for the regional flow of goods and availability as well as inventory ranges for VLS.
- Responsible for the divisional finished goods inventory and development and monitoring of inventory range targets.
- Logistics and transport, warehouse management, dispatch handling including contract design, transport law and master data.
- Main KPIs:
Delivery service level, logistics cost % of sales, inventory value, reduction of old stock, logistics quality.
- AP Production
- Ensure high quality in production support OEM, OES, and IAM businesses.
- Stakeholder of VLS small lot production concept development.
- Implement continuous improvement projects to support OEE, setup time reductions, etc.
- Strategic production footprint analysis and modelling of processes, infrastructure and production network VLS AP according to the AAM goals.
- Production & Operations processes analysis and optimization to VLS goals.
- Responsible for the plant gateway budget planning including production credit, DoPC, and investments.
- Support the localization of materials and IC component supply.
- Main KPIs: production cost, deviation of production costs, quality, delivery reliability, inventory value, investment accuracy, safety.
- Responsible for steering of regional plants and implementation of sustainability, Schaeffler Production System, digitalization, and safety (EHS).
- Other topics
- Controlling, reporting, reliable forecasts including plant cost reports, budget planning, etc.
- Control and planning of costs, quality and delivery performance of external and internal suppliers.
- Develop, train, promote, and retain managers and talents.
- Ensure compliance with group policies, procedures and processes.
- Contribute to the development of the reputation and the image of the group.
- Strong cooperation skills among internal departments.
- Bachelor degree in Engineering;
Master Degree a plus. - At least 10 years in leadership experience in a similar role in the automotive or industrial industry (production or SCM).
- Good MS Office knowledge, in particular MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Teams.
- Strong technical knowledge in automotive products (production process, materials, design, testing, supplier management).
- Technically and economically minded.
- Knowledge in Schaeffler products and production processes appreciated.
- Analytical and conceptual thinking, high organizational skills, experience in working under pressure.
- Very good communication skills, self-motivated, strong sense of responsibility.
- Willing to travel within and outside Asia Pacific.
- Able to work within complex matrix organizations.
- Business administration, MBA a plus.
- Comprehensive product, application and process knowledge.
- English language speaking & writing;
German or other languages are a plus. - Understanding of Schaeffler Group business processes.
