Clearance Requirement: Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and may meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information; Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance.
Passport Requirement: Continued employment for this role will depend on the ability to meet customer security requirements, including providing a valid passport for site access.
ResponsibilitiesResponsible for ensuring all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center operates at peak efficiency. This involves planned preventative maintenance, daily corrective work, and emergency response. The technician serves as an expert technical resource reporting to a program manager, interacting with Onsite Engineering Operations (OEO) and third-party vendors. They are expected to be a focal point for all facility operations within a data center and support operated data centers.
Data center equipment supporting mission-critical servers must maintain over 99.999% uptime.

3. The CET4 is an elite SME position. To attain CET4, a candidate must be an SME on several critical equipment types. - Understand the sequence of operations, how failures impact other systems, and have a holistic view of critical environment infrastructure, including MV/LV Distribution Boards, UPS, Generators, Batteries, ATS, AHU, DX units, Chillers, Fire Alarm Systems, and more.
- Review service reports on critical equipment, identify anomalies, improper maintenance, and deterioration of components.
- Implement Reliability-Centered maintenance processes and techniques.
- Lead and implement Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) reports.
- Conduct detailed root cause analyses (RCA).
- Develop reliability reports to identify areas for increased efficiency, resiliency, or to mitigate unplanned downtime.
- Ensure availability and capacity targets are achieved and maintained.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment with a high school diploma or GED.
- Subject to a government security investigation, including U.S. Citizenship, with the ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance.

- Possess a Journeyman Electrician License, Journeyman HVAC license, or equivalent.

- Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 pounds regularly, following proper safety protocols.
- Relocate a 12-foot stepladder without assistance.
- Work at heights up to 60 feet, climb scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks, and ladders.
- Perform physical tasks including walking, climbing, lifting, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead.
- Good vision, color perception, hearing, and communication skills in English.
- Use ladders and tools safely within weight limits.
- Recognize problems or potential issues, apply general rules to specific problems, and identify relationships among events.
