• To expand Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket business in SEA by increasing product coverage for local markets through initiating new product developments for passenger cars, commercial vehicles, two and three wheelers.
• To transfer technical knowledge about our products to distributors, dealers and mechanics.
• To provide technical support to customers and internal colleagues in SEA.
• To develop and maintain competitive product portfolio for SEA markets for Schaeffler products in engine, transmission, chassis and SNAP category.
  • Product Development
    • Internal & external product development with definition of specifications for product/s.
    • Commissioning of the product line, order of samples and definition of necessary tests.
    • Preparation of test equipment and execution of product/s tests.
    • Granting of the technical product release incl. verification of all relevant documents as well as the communication to defined stakeholders.
    • To lead new Product development process until product technical released.
    • Evaluation Business Case & Feasibility.
    • Product Development & develop technical requirements.
    • Product testing.
    • Technical product release.
    • To link K-Type and necessary information in PSP.
  • Product Lifecycle Management
    • Provision of product information as well as repair instructions for increasing customer satisfaction.
    • Product data maintenance (e.g. cross-referencing, services manuals...).
    • Updating or modification of packaging material.
    • Secure availability.

• Bachelor Degree level or technical background.
• 1-3 years relevant experience in Automotive Aftermarket, product development, project management or R&D.
• Experience in similar role appreciated.
• Any SEA language and/or German language appreciated.
• Familiar with AP Automotive Aftermarket.
• Very good written and verbal skills in English.
• Strong technical product knowledge (production processes, materials, design, testing, supplier management). Technically and economically minded. Knowledge in Schaeffler Products and production processes.
• Knowledge in Project Management.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
• Good team worker.
• Readiness for intensive travel in the region.
• Goal oriented.
• Highly motivated, engaged and creative.
• Supplier network will be an advantage.
