** SUE Field Technician
** in our . As a
** SUE Field Technician,
** you will be responsible for providing SUE assistance under leadership from a Crew Chief or Office Coordinator.

** Principal Responsibilities:
*** Perform field work for SUE location scopes of work using appropriate geophysical prospecting equipment to accurately designate underground utility layouts and perform routine computations for various project types.
* Operation and assistance of operation of SUE equipment, data collection and other location equipment.
* Transfer files between data collection and internal company project folders.
* Quality checks and processing of field data. Download, maintain, and verify accuracy of project data, reports, and managing database.
* Maintain professional and productive working relationships with all clients and coworkers.
* Operate a company vehicle.
* Observe safety and security procedures.
** Required Skills & Abilities:
*** Work to gain knowledge of typical SUE marking techniques.
* Interest in modern SUE equipment, devices, and methods.
* Problem solving techniques.
* Ability to work in an outdoor environment.
* Possesses basic oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to professionally represent IMEG.
* Valid driver’s license with ability to be insured by IMEG carrier; must consent to a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) background check.
* Advanced/Proficient in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Ability to travel with occasional overnight stays.

* Education & Experience:

*** Associates degree, or certificate, in Building Information Modeling (BIM), or Engineering preferred.
* Prior experience in the building design consulting or construction industry preferred.
*
* Physical Requirements:

*** Regularly required to sit, walk, stand, talk, see, hear, and lift objects up to 25 pounds.
* Occasionally required to drive, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, reach with hands or arms, and grasp or pull.
* Will have limited exposure to outside weather conditions and loud noises.
