Clearance Requirement: Applicants must undergo a government security investigation and meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information. Ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance is required.
Passport Requirement: Continued employment depends on meeting security requirements, including providing a valid passport for site access.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center operates at peak efficiency, including planned maintenance, corrective work, and emergency response.
- Serve as an expert technical resource, reporting to a program manager, and interacting with Onsite Engineering Operations and third-party vendors.
- Act as the focal point for facility operations within the data center and support operated data centers, maintaining better than 99.999% uptime for mission-critical servers.
- Meet all CET3 requirements; attain CET4 SME status by being an SME on multiple critical equipment types.
- Understand the impact of equipment failures and have a holistic view of infrastructure, including MV/LV Distribution Boards, UPS, Generators, Batteries, and other critical systems.
- Review service reports, identify anomalies, improper maintenance, and deterioration of equipment.
- Implement Reliability-Centered Maintenance and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA).
- Conduct detailed root cause analyses and develop reliability reports to improve efficiency and resiliency.
- Ensure capacity and availability targets are met and maintained.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment, with a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be eligible for a Top-Secret clearance and U.S. Citizenship.
Desired Qualifications:
- Possession of a Journeyman Electrician or HVAC license or equivalent.

Physical and Other Abilities
- Ability to lift, carry, and move objects up to 50 pounds regularly, following safety protocols.
- Ability to relocate a 12-foot stepladder without assistance.
- Work at heights up to 60 feet, climb scaffolds, lifts, and ladders.
- Perform physical tasks such as walking, climbing, lifting, and reaching routinely.
- Good vision and hearing, ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Recognize problems or potential issues, apply general rules to specific problems, and see details at close range.
