Mechanical Engineer; RR

HART Technologies, Inc. is seeking a talented Engineer for a mechanical engineering opening. This position is in direct support of DoD Projects.

Work as part of a multidisciplinary team of Engineers to deliver integrated products and services including: design and development along with integration, test and delivery, and creation of technical documentation.

Specific tasks include:

• Perform engineering calculations and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) when appropriate for assigned products.
• Perform component and machine cost analysis for assigned products.
• Researches and understands the applicable industry and government standards (CE, UL, etc.) for assigned products.
• Analyzes requirements and applies sound engineering principles toward structural designs.
• Utilizes CAD and mechanical skills to assess areas of improvement on both new and existing designs. Provide both formal and informal feedback as to areas of improvement in cost, manufacturability, and reliability.
• Develop 3D CAD models and drawings of complex assemblies using Solid Works.
• Develop and update system diagrams, assembly, subassembly and part drawings.
• Support hands-on integration and test activities.

Required:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3-7 Years Experience in Mechanical Engineering field.
• Proficiency with 3D Modeling / Design and evaluation tools (e.g. Solid Works, Ansys, Nastran).
• US citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.
• BS or Masters in ME with a minimum of Five (5) years of professional experience, including specialized in DOD or related programs.
• Active DoD Secret Level Security clearance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
