Field Service Power Generation Technician

** Field Service Power Generation Technician/*
* ** Mechanic
* * to join our Distribution Business in  
** Manassas, VA.*
* ** _Up to $10,000 Sign on Bonus, Annual Tool & PPE Allowance, Pension & 401K and Stock Purchase Plan._*
* ** In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:*
* + Completing repair activities on generators or components

+ Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner

+ Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools

+ Maintain detailed records of service

+ Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies

+ Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products

+ Maintain own tools

** RESPONSIBILITIES*
* ** To be successful in this role you will need the following:*
* + Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.

+ High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.

+ Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision - hands on exposure to working on power generation products.

+ Primarily engaged in preventative maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics on generators.

+ Basic Diesel Engine experience.

+ Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality.

** Education, Licenses,

Certifications:

** Apprentice Certified Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred), Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution, Current relevant electrical certification, Locally valid driving permit, this position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

** Basic level field service work experience, Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with of power generation products, High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience, Customer service experience

** QUALIFICATIONS*
* Monday - Friday 7am-4pm with overtime and weekend work

-    A current valid license is required for this role

-    Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience

-    This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations

-    A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire

-    Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older
