Program Facilitator - Special Education & Behavior Intervention at Alternative Paths Training School

Monday through Friday 7:30am-3:30pm.

We are seeking a dedicated Program Facilitator to support students with special needs. The role requires patience, integrity, initiative, and dedication.

• Support the Special Education Teacher with lesson plans/activities to help students reach academic goals.
• Assist students with physical tasks such as restroom use, hand washing, daily living skills.
• Implement behavior strategies (Applied Behavior Analysis) including proactive & reactive strategies, crisis intervention, and collection of behavioral data based on each student’s IEP and BIP.
• Assist with transportation of students between school and home, and during community-based instruction.
• Establish and maintain appropriate interactions with students and maintain a professional attitude and consistent respect towards students.

• High school diploma or equivalent – required.
• One more years experience with children (childcare/special needs) – required.
• OR
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or minimum of 4 years of active military duty – preferred.
