Our client is a long-established care organization that offers assisted living, nursing, and supportive housing services for adults, including those with limited resources. The Executive Administrator will oversee the administration of the Executive office and support the CEO and Board of Directors. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire position based in Manassas, VA, offering $40–$45 per hour during the contract period.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the executive office, supporting the CEO and senior leadership
- Coordinate all front desk activities, supervise support staff, and oversee reception operations
- Assist with planning and organizing Board of Directors meetings, including logistics and documentation
- Support executive and leadership team meetings, preparing agendas, capturing decisions, and distributing minutes
- Maintain relationships with external stakeholders and manage sensitive communications
- Coordinate travel arrangements, correspondence, and executive communications
- Supervise additional administrative support staff and ensure alignment of executive activities
- Respond to emergency situations as needed, including resident safety and evacuation procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field required; or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10 years supporting high-level executives, preferably in healthcare or governmental organizations
- Proven experience managing complex projects and cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and information systems like Share Point
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and exercise sound judgment
