Pay - $35 per hour Schedule - Full-time, Monday - Friday Location - ARS Rescue Rooter of Manassas, VA American Residential Services, LLC is the largest provider of residential services in the US, employing more than 6000 professionals across the country. ARS has been serving its customers with HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical since its establishment in 1975.

Supports financial operations by performing professional accounting services related to preparing, analyzing and maintaining financial statements, records and reports. Examines a variety of accounting documents to verify accuracy of computations and to ascertain that all transactions are properly supported, classified and recorded according to acceptable accounting standards.

• Financial Transactions
  :
  Record and reconcile financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
• Reporting
  :
  Assist with preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Month-Endand Year-End Closing
  :
  Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Documentation
  :
  Maintain documentation for revenue, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date. Enter accounting related information into business logs.
• Reporting Structure
  :
  Reports to the Branch Controller.

Qualifications

• Education
  :
  Minimum of Associate’s degree in accounting. Willingness to pursue a Bachelor’s degree for potential future advancement.
• Experience
  : 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a service or manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with accounting software and systems.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills for collaboration with team members and colleagues.
• Flexibility to participate in clerical tasks as required.
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial regulations.
